The Maggiore Group chooses Citroen Berlingo full electric van.

Rome, 16 February 2015 - The Maggiore Group, the largest entirely Italian-owned car rental agency and absolute leader in commercial vehicle rentals under the AmicoBlu brand, has chosen Citroen Berlingo Full Electric Van to launch the first zero-emissions van rental service, extending the quality and choice of their fleet.

 

The first electric van rental service is the result of the Maggiore Group's particular sensitivity to environmental issues, along with AmicoBlu's attention to the specific needs of the commercial transport sector. The solution is simple, eco-friendly and economic, with the Citroen Berlingo Full Electric Van: capable of reaching a speed of 110 km/h, with a full charge lasting up to 170 km, this brand new 100% electric vehicle will make it even easier for individuals and companies to provide transport and deliveries even to city centres, with full access to limited traffic areas (ZTL) and no fixed access times, without compromising on load volumes.
What's more, with free parking on blue lines - where provided under local regulations - and free electric charge-up points, you can cut transport costs at the same time as reducing pollution.
